Build the Safety Standard
We have the specification and 15 patents. You have the manufacturing capability. The EU AI Act takes effect August 2, 2026 — every robot manufacturer shipping to Europe needs hardware-enforced safety. Let's build it together.
The Standardized Autonomous Safety Module (SASM). The ATX standard for robot brains.
What We're Manufacturing
A standardized hardware safety module for autonomous robots. Three form factors, one universal connector, hardware-enforced safety.
Key Components
What We Need From Partners
PCB Assembly
SMT + through-hole mixed technology. Safety-critical board design with power gating circuits and hardware interlock modules. Experience with IEC 61508 or ISO 13849 preferred.
Enclosure Machining
Precision CNC machining for aluminum enclosures in three standard sizes. IP65+ rated for industrial environments. Sub-millimeter tolerance manufacturing.
Cable & Harness
Standardized MIM connector assemblies and cable harnesses. Safety-rated components and connectors for the universal robot-body interface.
Box Build & Integration
Final assembly: board into enclosure, cable routing, QA testing. Prototype runs first (10–50 units), then low-volume production (100–500), then scale.
Volume Projections
Honest projections. We are pre-revenue. These are goals, not commitments.
EU AI Act compliance demand (Aug 2026) is the primary volume driver. Humanoid robot wave (2026–2028) adds additional market pull.
Quality Requirements
| Standard | Requirement | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ISO 9001 | Minimum | Quality management system baseline |
| AS9100 / ISO 13485 | Preferred | Aerospace or medical device quality |
| IEC 61508 | Path to SIL 2 | Functional safety — core certification target |
| ISO 13849 | Path to PL d | Machinery safety control systems |
Why Partner Early
First-Mover Advantage
No standardized safety module exists today. The first manufacturer to deliver production-ready SASM units captures a new mandatory product category.
Regulatory Forcing Function
The EU AI Act (August 2, 2026) mandates hardware safety for high-risk AI systems. Every robot OEM selling into Europe will need compliant safety hardware.
Patent-Protected Design
15 provisional patents (134 claims) protect the architecture — 4 hardware patents covering the brain system, power gating, MIM connector, and standardized form factor.
Long-Term Relationship
This is not a one-off prototype job. We're building a long-term manufacturing partnership with preferred-partner and revenue-share arrangements on the table.
For Manufacturing Support Organizations
MEP centers, manufacturing consultants, and accelerator-adjacent resources — here's how to help.
